Discovering the Hidden Gem: Mount Kilang’s Beauty in Calanasan, Apayao

Adventure to Mount Kilang at Calanasan, Apayao: A Motorcycle Journey with Friends Last month, my friends and I embarked on an exciting adventure to Mount Kilang in Calanasan, Apayao. We chose to explore this beautiful mountain range on motorcycles, making the journey even more thrilling and memorable.  We traveled from Tuguegarao, Cagayan, with a total of 10 adventurers riding on 7 motorcycles. The trip was an exhilarating mix of scenic views, good company, and the anticipation of reaching our destination. There are two common routes to Mount Kilang: Tuao Route: Approximately 5 hours of travel. We took this route, enjoying the lush landscapes and mountain scenery along the way. Ilocos Route: Slightly longer, around 6 hours, but equally picturesque. The journey was smooth, with plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
